Welcome to Affinity Wood. We create handcrafted and customized furniture designed to meet our customers’ individual requirements. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
1. Handcrafted Furniture
Because our furniture is handcrafted, slight variations in wood grain, texture, color, fabric shade, finish, and overall appearance may occur. These differences are natural characteristics of handmade furniture and should not normally be considered defects.
2. Measurement Tolerance
Due to the nature of manual manufacturing, minor measurement differences may occur. A variation of approximately 1 to 2 inches in length, width, or height may be possible depending on the product and manufacturing process.
Customers should take this possibility into consideration when ordering customized furniture.
3. Custom Orders
Customized furniture is produced according to the customer’s selected design, measurements, materials, colors, and other specifications.
Before production begins, customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming their order details.
Once production has started, changes to the design, dimensions, materials, or other specifications may not be possible or may result in additional charges.
4. Fit & Access Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the selected furniture will fit within their intended space.
Customers should also check doorways, staircases, elevators, corridors, entrances, and other access points before placing an order.
Affinity Wood is not responsible for difficulties caused by insufficient access or incorrect measurements provided by the customer.
5. Production & Delivery Time
Our standard production and delivery timeframe is approximately 2 to 3 working weeks.
This is an estimated timeframe and may vary depending on customization, material availability, production workload, courier delays, weather, or other circumstances.
Custom or complex orders may require additional time.
6. Cancellation
Once production has started, cancellation of a customized order may not be possible because materials, labor, and manufacturing resources may already have been committed.
If a cancellation is accepted before production or dispatch, a 25% processing fee may be deducted from the order amount to cover preparation, materials, and administrative or production-related costs.
Any cancellation or refund will be handled according to the applicable order and circumstances.
7. Returns & Refunds
Because customized and made-to-order furniture is produced specifically for the customer, returns or refunds are generally not available for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect customer measurements
- Furniture not fitting the customer’s space
- Personal preference changes
- Natural variations in handcrafted materials
This does not affect any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
8. Damage Claims
Customers should inspect their furniture after delivery.
Major transit damage should be reported within 48 hours of delivery, together with photographs and relevant evidence.
For significant damage claims, an unboxing video may be required to verify the condition of the product when it was opened.
Minor cosmetic marks, small scratches, paint rubbing, or slight fabric scuffs caused by normal handling or transportation may not qualify for replacement.
9. Repair & Replacement
If significant damage or a manufacturing issue is verified, Affinity Wood may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement of an affected part, or replacement of the product.
The available remedy will depend on the nature and extent of the issue.
10. Customer Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact details, delivery information, measurements, design selections, and other order specifications.
Affinity Wood cannot be responsible for problems resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
11. Acceptance
By placing an order with Affinity Wood, you confirm that you have reviewed and accepted these Terms & Conditions and the related policies published on our website.
